The Word Help system as an actual problem is nothing new. For an elaborate and good article see: The pitfalls of the Word help system. Still, after 20+ years of Office existence, it seems nobody at Microsoft has a plan to either completely remove antiquated desktop help system, or replace it with something better. Even in year 2015, MS WORD Help System is solidly anchored in the past century. Illustration above clarifies the hoops countless of “Office Solution” developers have to go through every day. This simple query produced no results from Word VBA IDE, but when executed in Chrome results are plentiful.

Why having this huge elaborate, heavy and hardly usable, local help system on every desktop when hardly anybody is using it? Why not just leave it to Google?

Yes even good old limping Bing, gives meaningful results. And no. Do not try using MSDN. Leave it to Google to find the right MSDN page for you first.
